The Weagree Wizard - Introduction
Online contract assembly. The Weagree Wizard is a web-based document assembly software application accelerating automated drafting of contracts. The application enables the creation of (your or our) high quality contracts by processing an extremely user-friendly Q&A.
Very user-friendly. Guided by a powerful questionnaire (Q&A), the user:
- inserts the party details and other relevant contract information
- chooses from amongst options (or accepts the default answers)
- leaves out redundant contract provisions
- if desirable, inserts additional building blocks of atypical contract provisions
- generates a crisp document in the own contract house style
The setup of the Weagree Wizard is in all respects simple. It gives the user a strong sense of being in control over the contract assembly process. The Weagree Wizard expedites both routine and highly complex drafting work. In day-to-day routine contracts, 'copy-paste and search-replace' drafting (and the related errors) are history. Highly complex drafting work, such as SPA's and joint venture agreements, is simplified. Q&A's are such that by one click of a button the user inserts a word or phrase into a contract clause, or an entire article in the agreement. For a 12-minutes demo movie click here.
Knowledge Management Tool. The Weagree Wizard includes a very powerful "clause library". Never before has contract know how (i.e. individual contract clauses and contract building blocks) been so well-organised. Contract clauses can be assigned keywords, language properties, be categorised, be accompanied by an explanatory pdf and be hidden for unauthorised users. The clause library provides contract clauses for marking up contracts received from the other party.
High quality templates included. The Wizard is equipped with a set of high quality contract templates. The customer can modify them (as well as the Q&A) according to its business requirements.
Workflow. The Weagree Wizard contains a workflow, allowing a legal department to introduce approval rights preceding the release of a contract. The functionality justifies access rights to the Wizard for business line managers, without losing the option to release the contract itself only after review (or approval) by the responsible in-house lawyer.
